To be honest, I remember being fired from McDonald’s on two separate occasions for two separate offenses but I do not remember which infraction belongs to which firing.
One time I remember being fired was because I deep fried a Bugs Bunny Happy Meal toy in the Filet O’ Fish vat. I didn’t see the big problem; it was right before close on the night that I was to change out all of the vats.
The other time I was terminated was (officially) because I pinned a Big Mac bun on the bulletin board in the employee break room. This time I was fired, all personal like, by the District Manager who characterized me at that time as a “poison pill.”
McDonald’s has no sense of humor.
